we had a great time and the kids all did a good job. :) My girlfriend Laura and her daughter Leah came over with their own pumpkin too.

Char and Cara's b-day pics

These are the pics from Char and Cara's actual birthday. We had a small party at the house with uncle billy, and the rest of us. the pic of brother in the lion costume was supposed to be his halloween costume but it was to hot that day to get to wear it so he ended up being bob the builder. I will post pics of that too.

I am just going to let these pictues speak for them selves. Everybody had a great time and Bubba's favorite birthday present is his football. Even still this morning.

my last baby

well, my last baby has turned one. I am on to another season in my life. I am not sure how ready for this new season I am but it was coming someday anyway. It was an awsome day and I day I hope I won't forget to soon. I have a hard time remembering abi's first birthday so I know that I will someday not be able to remember all of the details of this day either. At least I have video and all of the pics to help me remember. I am pretty sure I have video of Abi's first birthday too but since i didn't have a digital camera with video it won't be as easy to find. I made him his favorite spaghetti dinner and then cake but for the twins birthday it will be a vanilla cake. I learned my lesson the hard way that bubba was not ready for chocolate cake yet. And I don't mean his messy face. :) Birthday shopping for him was no picnic. I had ideas last month of what I wanted to get for him and when i went shopping i couldn't remember any of them. The twins were aesy to shop for but Bubba was another story. I had the guy at the store who had a son help me because I couldn't navigate the boy section as well as I have been navigating the girl section for the last 11 years. Of course, Char and Cara both have toys that are not gender specific, it was just for some reason, not as easy as it is usually is. It felt like uncharted teritory. Kind of silly huh? Char and Cara got new Deigo stuff and that's not "girly" toys but when it came to picking stuff out for bubba... I was just drawing a blank. I think too it might be becasue he is only 1 and doesn't really have any preferences yet. Actually he does but I wouldn't have needed to go to the toy store to get it. He loves boxes of kleenex. He loves to pick out the tissues one by one and tear them into tiny little pieces until it looks like it snowed. Then he wants to eat them. He is a very curious little boy huh? :) He probably gets to get into more things like that than I ever let any of the other kids becasue I think I am getting more and more laid back with each child. I want them to get to explore even if it is just a box of tissues. I need to take a pictue of the vortex that Char and Cara made on the living room wall for us. I think they learned about circles last week in school. :) See what happens when you teach your kids stuff. They show you what they can do with it. :) God love um. :) well, gotta go to soccer. :)

voter frustraition

Is Ralph Nater going to be on the voter ballot again? Neither one of these guys really looks like a good vote but not voting for either is bad too. So I was jst wondering if Ralph Nater was going to be on the ballot. I'm going to search today and see who the green party is. :) Get back to you on this. OKay, I found this.

life is to precious...

i just wanted to say thank you God for all that you have given me. everyone should take a minute today appreciate what they have been special enough to receive. your health, your family, your faith. Don't take the little things for granite. Life is to precious and to short. There is a bigger picture. Are you looking to it? I think sometimes people spend there lives always trying to out do others. When it comes down to it, are you really worying about things that are going to make life changing differences? How are you defining your life? What are you doing to leave your mark on the world? How are you living your dash? if you found out tomorrow that you only had 30 days left to live, could you look at your life and say that you have done all that you could? or all that you wanted to? could you say that you really paid attention to the things that mattered the most? Start living your life today. you only have a short while here compaired to what is comming next. Thay you God for giving me today.

Eckert's

Well, we spent the day at Eckert's yesterday with the kids. Aunt Liz went also and brought Kenny and one of his friends. Everybody had a great time. Char and Cara were in horsie heaven getting to ride a horse for the first time. Horses are their favs right now. I think all of the girls have gone through a horse phase. Josie is still in hers. :) The pic of the afgahn is my work in progress right now. I got to wprk on it yesterday on our way to and from Eckert's. It is a beautiful Eggplant color. I am making it for a christmas present. Who is the lucky recipient? :) Well, after a extreamly tiring day at Eckert's Bubba's cough came back full force by bedtime and he coughed and threw up in my bed lastnight. Oh Hurah! :) We stayed home from church this morning just in case he might really be sick. So far he is running a fever. Probably has and ear infection too. Oh the great outdoors. :) We will be going to the ped tomorrow. I wish Sunday's could be more productive. :)

back in the blogspot

i am going to start blogging here again. :) It is 11:45pm right nowso I am not going to say anymore for tonight but I haven't used my blogspot acct in forever as you can see that my last post was in 06'. All my kids have grown, we even have one more since the last time I posted here. Right now, I am frustraited with the twins and how they just won't listen to anything I tell them. I said so much today that I am hoarse and frustraited. Maybe tomorrow will be better.
